| The Pso Natura and Akno Natura kits contain a loofah sponge, specially researched by "Laboratoires des Mascareignes", for the effective and localised application of the product.
As with our Regenerator Complex, "Laboratoires des Mascareignes" sought inspiration from beauty secrets thousands of years old. The Pharaohs and Queens of Egypt used the loofah to make their skins soft. Our loofah is produced from biological ingredients; it is the ecological alternative to chemical sponges, marine sponges (a marine animal whose removal destroys the ecosystem), and other massage gloves (removed from animals at the slaughter-house). Our sponges are entirely hand-made by a community of women in Mauritius. |

What is a loofah?
The loofah finds its roots in the cucumber family. It comes from the dried, exotic vegetable: the Pipengaille. It is a collection of soft, meshed fibres and is ideal for:
- Reinforcing your Regenerator Complex, Akno Natura® or Pso Natura®.
- Massaging away dead skin; it is very soft and non-abrasive.
- Improving circulation
- Dilating pores and removing impurities
- Regenerating epidermis (top layer of skin) by helping the skin to breathe.
Particularly suitable for sensitive skins, the loofah does not cause any allergic reactions. As it has been sun bleached, it is not prone to mildew.
